Ghazal Mushaira program has been held for the first time at Birtamode in Jhapa. The main project of Nepal Ghazal Foundation and the collaboration of International Nepali Ghazal Forum, Pranjal Sadhana Center, Gopikrishna Smriti Foundation and Virata Readers, Ghazal Mushaira was held with music.

There was a special performance of more than one and a half dozen ghazal seekers of national level at the ghazal mushaira at the hall of Indreni Vanquet in Birtamode on Saturday, January 27th. Nepal Ghazal Foundation had been conducting this kind of program before. According to the president of the foundation Lalkaji Shrestha, ghazal writers from about 1 dozen districts of Sudurpaschim, Gandaki, Bagmati and Koshi provinces presented ghazals and that at the ghazal mushaira organized in Jhapa.

According to the coordinator of Virata Readers Teertha Sigdel, a ghazal training workshop was also conducted on the same day from 10 am to 1 pm. Ghanendra Ojha, president of the International Nepali Ghazal Forum, provided training for more than 100 participants.
