Literary Writing Training in Birtamode

A one-day literary writing training was completed in Birtamod, jointly organized by Birtamod Media Research Center and Virta Readers.

In coordination with Gopi Krishna Memorial Foundation, Jhapa Literary Society, Literary Journalists Forum, and Isha Books, the training provided guidance on various dimensions, styles, and techniques of literary writing.

Trainer and writer Ramesh Shayan shared with participants methods of literary writing, the use of language, and writing skills. He also discussed the importance of logic and creativity in writing.

He stated that only by identifying one’s area of genuine interest can one achieve success. Encouraging all who write and wield the pen, he inspired participants to strengthen their analytical abilities.

The training was chaired by Tirtha Sigdel, coordinator of the Media Research Center. Participating students also presented their own ghazals and poems.

With special support from Birtamod Municipality and Lincoln Montessori, the program saw significant participation from writers, journalists, literature enthusiasts, and students interested in literature.

The organizing institutions believe that the program will further encourage youths who have an interest in literary writing. Participants expressed that such events help transform society and bring positive change to creativity.

The program, welcomed by Hari Baral, was conducted by journalist Saroj Paudel.
