Manoj Khanal
He is the oldest son of late Gopi Krishna Khanal, was born on Oct. 23, 1969. Currently, he lives in New York/New Jersey, USA since 2004. Mr. Khanal is in accounting profession at Manhattan NYC. He has done Master of business administration in Tribhuvan University in 1998. He was migrant to USA for better professionalism and better future of his life.
Since childhood, he was involved in social organization named Sunrise Youth Club in hometown. He is a best football player when he is grown up aged 17th. A D 1992, A National convention was going to held in Birtamod Jhapa, He has got opportunity how to develop the leadership worked by volunteer as a Junior member of Birta Jaycees. In childhood, It will bring him to more involvement of social work, as a result, he is keep supporting to some poor students for their higher education in Nepal. He is moved to capital of Nepal Kathmandu for higher education degree. He is also joined as an accounting officer of government servant at National Tea and Coffee Development Board. He worked almost seven years in government office and got a better option to attend the international convention like Japan, Singapore, Hongkong, Malaysia and USA. He is also holding the member of Association of Nepal Charter Accountant and has experience as an editor in chief of souvenir published by government named Tea-A-Tea.
Mr. Khanal has grown up an environment of journalism and literature activities at home by serving executive director of Naya Kamana weekly newspaper and Rahar monthly literature magazine. It is a history to keep the record that Manoj Stationery udhyog is the first factory was established in 1990 at Birtamod it produced a notebook for the student and supplied locally in high school.
He is also a straightforward and independent writer of articles; poems and it has been published in the various news portal. He has beautiful wife Gita Khanal, daughter Purnima Khanal and son Prajwal Khanal.
Mr. Khanal is a creator and declared to establish a Gopi Krishna Memorial Foundation when he lost his father in July 2018. He wants to keep continue of his late father’s spirit of journalism, literature and social work on society through foundation.
